Allahabad also known as 'Prayagraj' is considered as one of the oldest cities in India.Ancient scriptures define the city as 'Prayag' or 'Teertharaj' - one of the holiest pilgrimage centers in the nation. This pristine city is located at the pious confluence of the three great rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, commonly known as the 'Sangam'.

Because of its religious value, the city comes to life during festivals and religion fair such as Kumbh Mela (celebrated once in 12 years), Magh Mela and the Ardh Kumbh which is observed every 6 years. Famed for its world class education infrastructure, Prayagraj is home to the University of Allahabad which is spread across hundreds of acres and is a blend of the Mughal and Victorian architecture. With landmark verdicts having been released from here, the Prayagraj High Court is considered as one of the most respected ones in the country.
